Congratulations to Jamie Millard, this year's recipient of the Therese Strick Volunteer Award! Jamie has been instrumental in the on-going success of the Bay Colonies Chapter. During his tenure as President, Jamie has encouraged the growth of membership, the recruitment of volunteers, out-reach to those in transition, and updates to our technology platform. Under Jamie's leadership, our meetings found a new home base at Save The Bay, and both long-time members and recent recruits felt welcomed. And the Chapter formed a stronger relationship with the National ASTD organization, becoming 100% CORE certified in 2009 and sending Board members to the Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. in 2009 and 2010. |
