The Therese Strik Volunteer
Award
Description
The Therese Strik Volunteer Award (TSVA) will be given each year to a
chapter member who has demonstrated an outstanding level of
contribution, dedication, and support to the ASTD Bay Colonies Chapter
and its members.
Nominations are open between March 15 and April 30 of
each year. A Nominating Committee will select the awardee and
submit the name to the Board for presentation at the June annual
meeting.
Eligibility Criteria
- Required: Chapter member for a minimum of three years
- Cannot serve on the TSVA Selection Committee and cannot be
a past recipient.
- Candidate does not have to meet all of the following but
will be judged on the following criteria:
- Significant volunteer activities within the chapter
- Board positions held
- Community involvement that supports the mission of the
Bay Colonies Chapter.
- Profesional expertise
- Mentoring of other members
- Volunteer presentations
