About the Program Generic diversity programs admonish us not to stereotype social groups, but may do us a disservice by ignoring or failing to help us understand real cultural differences. On the other hand, when we try to articulate these group-based characteristics, we run the risk of exaggerating, distorting or oversimplifying them, and this can lead to inadvertent acts of discrimination. In this highly interactive session, we'll use critical thinking skills to enhance our appreciation of diversity, and walk away with concrete strategies for managing our perceptions, so that we can promote true inclusion in our organizations and communities.
